First time visit. Got 3 meat plate to sample all! Chicken was very good. Juicy and great flavor. Ribs went well with the sauce and were cooked about perfectly. The brisket had good flavor but was dryer than I like. I like a moist juicy brisket. I had to dip this in the sauce. If you like the lean ones this is your spot. Had potato salad that tasted just like potatoe salad and baked beans. The beans were very good and flavorful. Not overly sweet. The surprise for me was the hush puppies. They were the absolute best ones I have ever had. Very good. Friendly staff and very clean restaurant.
This place is awesome. If you’re looking for a quick bite in the area, highly recommend. I’m from out of town but this is probably some of the best bbq I’ve had. Very fair prices for very good eats. Half rack for $23 and 2 sides, really can’t get better. Sides were very decently sized, came home with plenty of leftovers. Service was amazing! Very sweet waitress, and refilled drinks before we had to ask. Only negative was no onions rings or chicken tenders, they had run out, but we also came an hour before close. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the mood for BBQ!
Roland the server deserves raise. Best hype man for a business I've seen so far. Food was good and very flavorful. Only downside is the brisket was cold and leathery. The sauce selection saved it. The smokes wings and ribs, great. Kids menu, my son loved the chicken tenders and the seasoned fries are stepped up from the norm. Over all would recommend to anyone and enjoyed the our visit.
